Brought my daughter back to mum's place last Friday. She will be there for 2weeks. Such a long period... Missing her a lot, can only hear her voices through phone. Twice a day. What to do, is a break for my mum-in-law.
After work, decided to go North Point, opp Yishun mrt for dinner. Since the new wing opened, this is the second time going to North Point. I remembered the last time that I went, there is a Japanese style food court. So, today suggested to have a try there.
Walking into the food court, it's really different from Singapore food court. Haha, this is for sure because, as already said, this is a Japanese style food court. All the stalls selling Japanese cuisines, such as Bento, Teppanyaki, Omelette rice, Rice burger, Ramen, etc. And of course sushi + maki + some cold dishes. There are also variety of canned drinks imported from Japan, and also Japanese ice-cream.
I never been to Japan, but entering into this food court, I can feel the culture of Japan. Decorations are pretty nice. Very strong feel of "Yea, this is a Japanese style of deco!" :)
Walking around few times, too many variety and don't know which to choose. At the end, decided to try the Seafood Omelette Rice, which costs me 5.90sgd.

The outlook is yummy. However, the taste is a little disappointing. The rice inside is fried rice. Not so tasty, a bit plain. But I like the way they handle the omelette. It's not overcook, remained a bit soft soft. Egg smells great. About seafood, very big difference from the picture displayed on the menu. On the menu, there are few chuka idako. But, in fact, just some smaller sized octopus, and few small prawns. However, the sauce is OK. A bit like cream sauce. I think the Beef patty will be a better combination with Omelette Rice. Next time can try.
This is what munloong bought for his dinner. Japanese style spaghetti. The display picture showed a little different from the actual dish. Kinda disappointing, especially the wurstel on top of the spaghetti. It is halved. We were thinking it's those kind of German wurstel, which is very nice. However...

This is lemon tree canned drink, which imported from Japan.

Overall, not too costly dinner with Japanese food. And the atmosphere is nice.
WIll be back again. :D
